About Us

The Chetek Snow Flyers Snowmobile Club has been in existence since the early 1960's and consists of more than 65 families.

Each year the club members spend many volunteer hours rerouting, clearing, brushing, marking, mowing & grooming our 70 miles of trails situated within Barron County, WI. There are over 140 private landowners who generously let the club run the trail system across their property. Many more hours go into keeping in close contact with each of these landowners. Without them, we would not have the trails.

The Chetek Snow Flyers donate annually to numerous community organizations such as Chetek Food Shelf, Chetek Scholarship Fund, and the Schmidty Open. The club also holds a snowmobile safety class each year for the youth in our area.

Hundreds of local and out-of-state snowmobilers use the Snow Flyers trails to connect with the other trail systems through the county. This brings revenue in several different forms to many businesses.
